Quelques jours après la finale perdu face à la JL Bourg, Poitiers Basket, qui jouera donc en Pro B la saison prochaine, vient de faire une prolongation d'importance puisque c'est l'artilleur maison Jeff Greer qui sera Poitevin pour deux saisons de plus.
Nous avons joint Jeff qui a eu la gentillesse de nous livrer ses impressions exclusives sur ce renouvellement et sur la saison qui vient de l'achever. Merci à lui...
La saison qui vient de s'achever était une bonne saison selon moi, même s'il est vrai que nous n'avons pas terminé aussi bien que nous l'aurions souhaité en montant en Pro A. Nous sommes devenus meilleurs au fil de la saison en jouant en équipe et nous avons produit du bon basketball au bon moment. Malheureusement nous avons affronté une équipe qui a très bien joué dans les finales et le résultat n'est pas celui que nous espérions.
Ce nouveau contrat à Poitiers est une bonne chose et que ce soit le club ou moi, nous sommes ravis de l'avoir signé. J'ai de bons rapports avec le coach, le staff et j'en suis très content. Ma famille se plait beaucoup à Poitiers Les supporters sont supers et je pense que c'est un bon endroit pour moi à ce moment de ma carrière car le club et moi avons les mêmes ambitions. Il me tarde de me remettre au travail avec ma famille, le PB 86.

The past season was a good one in my opinion even though it did not finish the way we would have liked by making it to Pro A. As a team we got better as the year went on and we were playing good basketball at the right time. Unfortunately we ran into a team that was also playing well in the finals and the result was not what we had hoped for. To have the opportunity to play in the finals of the playoffs was already a accomplishment with the way we started our season.
This new contract is something that I think both sides are happy with. My family and I really like it here in Poitiers. I have a good relationship with the coach and the staff here and it is something that I am happy with. The fans are great and I think this is a good place to be at this point in my career because the club and I have the same ambitions. I looked forward to the next 2 years here with my PB86 family.
